OVERVIEW

TAU-19 is the eleventh vehicle designed and manufactured by TAU Racing for the Formula Student UK competition. TAU-19’s focus was on driver ergonomics and driveability, and improved vehicle dynamic performance. With this focus, the driving position was further reclined and lowered, the dash was redesigned to be ergonomic, and the paddle shifters were altered to meet each drivers own finger profile. Vehicle dynamic performance improvements saw the vehicle setup adjusted through the extended testing period available to the team through the 2019 summer.
