CAR 17.jpg

OVERVIEW

TAU-17 was the ninth entry for the Formula Student UK competition submitted by TAU Racing. The design focus of the TAU-17 car was to ensure that the development of the car continued, in line with the ever changing formula student regulations. This saw the implementation of a new power-plant, by way of a triumph 675 Daytona engine, making full use of the change In regulations for the 2017 season, allowing for a maximum engine capacity of 710 cc, up from 600 cc as per previous years.
