OVERVIEW

TAU-15 was the seventh car to be entered to the Formula Student UK competition by TAU Racing. It is a evolution of its successful predecessor, with a large emphasis placed on the balance between reliability and performance. the targets set at the beginning of the project were:

  • A final weight of 200 kg

  • Improved engine tuning and lubrication system

  • Integrated anti-roll bar within suspension system

  • Suspension (front/rear): double unequal length a-arm. Pull-rod (front)/ push-rod (rear) actuated springs and dampers, with adjustable anti-roll bar.

  • Wheels: 6 x 13” / 7 x 13 Keizer three piece. aluminium rims with magnesium centres
